I want to make a lager, but i don't have the temperature required. What kind of taste differences can I expect if I use ale yeast instead of lager yeast.

The temp is around 75 now. It did get cold and the temp in the room dropped to a little above 65. I want somehting carbonated like bud. They are getting slightly more carbonated, but not to the level i would like.

I'm going to brew my first kit with hops. This may be a dumb question, but what do you do with the hop pellets after the boil? Do they break apart? Do you leave them or scoop them out?
