I added the elderberries in the primary tank along with everything else when I made the mixture, including yeast and whatnot. It's been sitting in there from about 4-5 days now going through fermentation. I'm planning on buying a second tank to shift it in there for the secondary to finish it...
I recently was speaking with my flatmate about different kinds of beer and I decided to brew my 3rd batch, but this time I decided to add a whole lot of elderberies in a 8 liter batch ( 500 grams to be precise).
This is literally a case of "Just throw stuff in and try it out" kind of thing...
Thanks guys, my heart can move back in its original place now lol. Also one last thing, the airlock and the bin have been sweating but I didn't see any bubbling going on in the airlock as many say. Does the bubbling happen only when you habe large batches cause mine is 9 litres in a 23 litres bin.
Heya, I've got my first batch in my fermentation bin and have been keeping an eye on it for a while now ( About 3-4 days) and I was temped to open it and see how things are going in there after reading that a lot of people do that.
I noticed something wiers though that worries, some wierd green...
