This cider was started back in April. It spent 8 weeks over 2 set of apples and then over month with pectic enzyme in it.
I enjoyed the taste with what did not make it to the current fermenter.
As you can see in the images it has gone very clear from when I racked it between time on...
Want to age it till December as it's going to be a Christmas cider a new tradition I have started.
guess I rack it off to a smaller container. Glad I have at least 1carlo rossi jug
I just checked on a cider that's going for a long aging and noticed something at the liquid line. The carbon was fully sanitized and I kept the airlock full.
Have I lost this one?
I have done 3 ciders with fresh juice and have my first store bought cider going. It smells good but I did though some apple slices into it as well. Its almost time for racking as the fruit is over 2 weeks old

I am going to make a mead this year. I am planning on making a cyser as I am enjoying making cider right now. I have the yeast and the honey I am going to us but the stuck on the apple juice. I could pay more for fresh stuff from last year, use store juice lots of people...
So last week I did my first botting day and it went better then I thought it would as I did not have a bottling wand yet.
Bottled my S-04 cider I started on 01.11.25
Started with an OG of 1.052 that went down to 1.004 at this point I split out 1 litter of cider and added in a strong pear...
So first time using S-04 and think it's going to be the last.
Had to do 2 rackings to get all the settlement out. Image is from second racking
Me and the wife found that it had gone very tart and its going to need lots of adjustments to make it drinkable for use.
Well we live and learn...
