Ok. I went ahead and boiled 2 cups of water, chilled to 80f and pitched, stirred after 15mins, waited another 15mins then added the slurry to the carboy. Hopefully it works out.

I made the Morebeer Pliney the Elder clone yesterday and pitched 1 US-05 packet without hydrating. I just ran a couple of yeast calculators and it looks like I need more cells. Is it too late to pitch another packet?
I meant add the sugar in addition. And continuos hopping by adding a little bit of the 3oz of centennial and 3oz of simcoe every few minutes until flame out.
