Vienna Lager Eliot Ness Vienna Lager Clone

Well I have to admit that I too brewed this recipe. :) I brewed it on 10/18, two weeks later it landed at 1013 (diacetyl rest too). Cold crashing for a few days at 34F then keg and lager for a few weeks. My only sample didn't have much of a malt aroma and was a bit hoppier than planned. On...

    lazy bones yeast harvesting?

I just did this and it seems to work fine. In fact, I used a small mason jar of trub from a smokey raunchier. A month and a half later the sample smelled like a baconey fire pit. I made a 3L starter with it and after 48 hours cold crashed the starter. The starter "beer" tasted like a clean lager...

It' smells great, hazy, a big but not boozy, quit bitter. Hop flavor reflects the blend that I used which I clouded citra, Amarillo, centennial, and...

Can my IPA be ready in 14 days?

I made a citra Amarillo wheat IPA and served in six days for a beer event. It was extremely popular and people did not believe the timeline. Hit FG and you're good to go for some beers. The pros do it.

Double IPA Stone Enjoy By IPA

I brewed this today using 10 lbs of American and 7 lbs of English 2 row. I had to adjust the hops a bit based on my inventory. One thing to note... I had to mash overnight because kids. I got great efficiency, probably close to 80%. I do biab. I'll oxygenate and pitch a huge amount if 05...

Can I brew today and pitch tomorrow?

Yes. I usually put it into the fermenter at 100 and then into the fermentation chamber. Pitch the next day.
