    Yeast harvesting/washing question

It only went through one round of washing (started with lots of jars) and let it sit for a few hours at room temperature. Then, I transferred into the jars you see in the picture and put them in the fridge overnight. If I'm doing it right so far, I was expecting to have more of the milky layer...

    Yeast harvesting/washing question

I'm washing my yeast for the first time and trying to figure out if I'm on the path to success or not. I have a Belgian Quad that I racked into the secondary and started washing the yeast for round one. I then put the remaining jars in the fridge overnight and woke up to the following picture...

Can I swap kegs out half way?

Thanks Yooper! Good to know I can rotate kegs in & out even if they're not kicked.

    Preparing connections for first time

So I've got a brand new conversion kit for my kegerator. Everything is done and I'm now ready to connect everything up. I've read mixed thoughts on using Teflon tape for the beer lines. I also have some keg lube, so I'm wondering what is the "best practice" for preventing future leaks. In...

Can I swap kegs out half way?

Just curious if it's possible (acceptable??) to swap out kegs once they've been tapped? I tend to make higher gravity beers and just getting into kegging, but curious if I can swap out a keg and have the half-full keg sit at room temperature for days or even weeks before going back in the...

Help with the right parts to pull this off

Hmm. Makes me wonder if I should just use a through-the-door kit so I don't have to worry about the foaming problem. Any downside to doing that?

Help with the right parts to pull this off

Thanks. I didn't realize I was already going to have an issue using the tower before I go further than that. Would running the taps through the fridge door be a better/more reliable solution versus the tower?

Help with the right parts to pull this off

That's where my beginner in kegging is showing. If it doesn't sound feasible, I may just revert back to using the tower & put it in a different location if I can't meet the height limitations in that cabinet. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Help with the right parts to pull this off

Thanks. I did see that one, but it only has a single connection. I'm assuming this one would also do the trick? http://www.beveragefactory.com/draftbeer/kits/dkk2.shtml

Help with the right parts to pull this off

I've got a new Danby DAR044 and getting ready to convert it. I'm going to place it into the cabinet pictured and want the taps to come out of the side (marked in red) of the cabinet. I currently have a dual faucet TapRite conversion kit that my wife bought me for Christmas...

    Danby DAR044A1BDD kegerator build

I'm also attempting to fit 2 low-profile cornies in this exact unit. I'll let you know how it goes, but it's super tight right now.

    My new Danby Kegerator Convert!

I'm getting ready to build this same model. I noticed that I can't fit 2 cornies (converted ball lock) side by side in this unit out of the box. Did you have to cut the side molds or not? Thanks!

    Danby Kegerator Thoughts

Just curious how you made out converting this particular model? I'm getting ready to start and already noticed that 2 cornys won't fit side by side. I'm assuming you had to cut out the side molds to squeeze them in? Any other gotchas with this model? Thanks!

    Keg conversion question

So my wife bought me a dual tap kegerator conversion kit (TapRite) that comes with the draft tower. Unfortunately, I don't have the height clearance to put it into an existing cabinet, I was hoping to run the tap faucets through the side of the cabinet. Would I be able to eliminate the draft...
