    Where can I get some good insulation?

    I'm trying to build something along the lines of 'son of fermentation chiller' but I can't find any extruded polystyrene anywhere. I've checked the local hardware stores but they don't have it, I'm in a big city so it should be somewhere. I appreciate your help.

    Thanks for all the info guys, I guess I'll increase my boil volume and look into making an immersion chiller to go along with an ice bath. it seems like the most sanitary way to coil chill, you only have to sanitize the outside.

    I am using some liquid yeast for a partial mash that I am doing, the package said to take it out of the refridgerator 3-6 hours before use, what if I use it 7 hours or so after taking it out?

    Wow, apparently this subject has been around the block. I think the best idea in that thread is the Pot Head Porter that adds weedbutter in the last 15 min of the boil. Im gonna leave marijuana out of my recipes for now, I wouldn't want to ruin good beer.

    Does anyone have experience incorporating marijuana into their recipes? The plants are very similar in that they are a dioecious(male/female) plant of which the unfertilized female flowers are the desired product, that's sensimilla. The bract structure of the flowers are similar as well...

    No-rinse sanitizer, how far does it go.

    If I wash my equipment with non-disinfecting dish soap and then soak it completely in no rinse cleaner overnight is that sanitary or do I need to use something like bleach?

    What temperature should I shoot for during secondary fermentation? My apt. was really warm this morning and poured ice water on a wet towel around my secondary, gauge pressure dropped and the airlock leaked a little no-rinse sanitizer in; is that going contaminate my beer?
