I'm thinking about getting into grain beers but I have a few questions!
What is the setup you need?
What is the process, and is it time consuming?
I am a farmer can I use my own grain?
Do you get the quality and clarity?
How much does it all cost for the setup and how much money do you save?
Yer definatly! Because the beer is drawing from the bottom it is icey cold! I make up my own ice in ice cream containers cause it holds 10 kg of ice or more! And it take a long time for the sun to melt that amount of ice in a cold esky!!
Mate I'm in Australia Queensland! The sunshine capital of aus! And it will last for two three days in heat between 32 and 40 degrees Celsius. That with an igloo!
My setup! Fits my 7.5lb gas bottle out of my keg fridge, so I only disconnect my fridge beer line then put it straight in the igloo and pack with ice, tap on and I'm away!
Thanks, what sort of times do you primary and secondary? Mines 5 primary 7 secondary. Have you left it in the secondary for a long time before? Does it make more difference?
Sorry I have gased it for two days at 260 kpa. Now I ready to drop it back to pouring pressure. Though I don't water to drink it yet cause I already have one half full. So just wondering if I can leave it off gas now til I want to drink it?
I've just gased a keg ready to drink! Now can I put my gas on my other keg finish it and leave the one I have just gased off the gas til I'm ready to drink it??
