First time using BeerSmith and I want to make sure my numbers are lining up.
Beersmith certainly does allow for multiple different sparging options for BIAB. Beersmith in my opinion is one of the most useful apps if you get it updated and set up correctly. It does take some getting used too but i can turn out recipes and hit my numbers dead on using beersmith any day.- sailsaway

Different sources can result in different results. freshness of malts are one factor, settings of the mill being used from each source can be another factor. This type of scenario is not unheard of. New to brewing, what hop/ yeist goes good with pilsner Light DME
Best bet is to find a recipe in the recipe section for an extract light/hybrid ale. I would consider making a cream ale. Lightly hopped, light bodied, easy to drink.- sailsaway
