I just brewed this up...I accidentally used 1 oz. of Saaz hops instead of 1/2 oz. Oh well. I used 5 medium sized valencia oranges instead of blood oranges because I couldn't find them anywhere. Smells great so far. Can't wait to hook it up to my kegerator.

I was planning on rinsing and sanitizing with star-san anywayson brew day. So I will just rinse a few extra times before sanitizing and hopefully that will do the trick. Thanks!

I have left a solution of oxiclean in my plastic Better Bottle fermentor for about 3 weeks now. Is it OK to just rinse and sanitize before using, or did the prolonged contact with oxiclean ruin it?

I usually just use one scoop oxiclean and fill the rest up with warm water for my 5 gallon cornies.

Get a small fan to circulate the air. I installed one and it completely got rid of all my frost build-up and brought down the temperature drastically. There are lots of threads on this site discussing how to install one. Good luck!
