    Welcome aboard. The first few batches that I made, I drank too quickly. They weren't all that good until a few months after bottling. So, I only got a few of them at their peak.

    Hi from Canada, eh!

    I made a BrewHouse Cerveza kit, but used a lager yeast and fermented pretty cold, rather than the supplied yeast. It turned out pretty good, very clean, wife friendly. For limes, I like them sliced and added fresh :) I also prefer the Festa kits slightly. Especially for head retention.

    You're welcome. I found there was a lot of terms in both beer and wine making, but the concepts behind them were usually simple. Ditto the American thing, UK gallons are bigger. If you want to try a non-beer brew, besides mead, there is always apfelwein or cider...
