I have 5 gallons of cider almost ready to bottle AND want to carb in the bottle. I was going to add FAJC to the bottling bucket for sugars. Is one 12 oz can enough?
I want it to be pretty bubbly but don't want things exploding either.
I have read some use 1 can and others 2 cans.....
Thanks
I have brewed 25 + batches. I have never cold crashed or used gelatin. I get crystal clear beer every time.
I use SS brewtech brew bucket which i ferment and bottle from the same vessel. no secondary either
I have been doing extract kits with specialty grains and adding my own hop combo to my liking. Beers come out pretty good. 4 batches now.
All the recipes seem to call for a 2.5 or 3 gallon boil. Can i start my boil with 5 or 5.5 gallons? What will this effect (negative effects)?

Tasted sample after 7 days (not really any bubbling coming from blowoff anymore, maybe once every 10 minutes). Taste is OK, but it...
I think i am going to go with the 7 gallon brewbucket brewmaster. That really is all i need. I am not going to harvest yeast so this should do nicely. I agree $200 for a plastic fermenter is alot of money, when i can get the nice SS brewbucket that does everything the same besides emptying...
I have 6 batches under my belt. they all turned out good, surprisingly!!
I just want to buy once and have it last. i think the $200 one is pricey for what it is. but i would like to be able to see the fermentation without opening the lid. ( it does sit in a pitch black basement corner so...
One obviously pricier than the other. I always have beer fermenting so it will be used as often as possible. Spend the extra money for the stainless and probably have it forever, or go for the plastic, which basically does exactly the same thing for half the price...
