    What are you drinking now?

HB Braggot (Bourbon soaked staves) 16% ABV. Aged it with the staves for just over 4months and wow you can taste it all! Toffee, dried fruits, maltiness, honey and of course bourbon! The Elijah Craig is coming through so good and has a perfect amount of tannins and sweetness. I just kegged it...

SafLager 34/70 - No activity after 48+ hours

If the OG doesn’t drop do a small yeast starter and pitch. The active yeast will eat those sugars for sure.

What I did for/with Mead today

Checked the gravity on my 21 gallons of sweet potato mead. Its moving slow and steady and smelling great! Also stabilized 2 days ago on my “garbage braggot” then backsweetened today. Also dry hopped with willamette.

    Mead speed

I agree with all but also sometimes it's better to learn from our decisions, sometimes they are good ones and sometimes bad. Overall that experience can help with brewing in the future especially if you're really enjoying the hobby and plan on sharing but getting honest feedback.
