Well, here is my first all grain Framboise Lambic. I used 9lbs of fresh raspberry too. This Lambic reminds me of Lindeman's Framboise Lambic. Thanks Biocemetic for the link with the recipe and thanks to all for your suggestions.
i double mash the grains(long story on why i double mashed the grains) and this was the results. very hoppy, high gravity and you can still taste the oatmeal. I wanna call it Roasted Oatmeal IPA.
So I made an oatmeal stout a few weeks back. when I went back to clean the airlock i notice there was a sediment of yeast on the bottom of the air lock and just for ****s and giggles I decided to cultivate the yeast in honey and water and it flipping worked! Im not gonna use the yeast for beer...

I've been doing some research on this beer. you really can't find decent lambic kits. i found a recipe which i will modify.
5 gals. spring water to 150 F
1lb. 20 L. Crystal steep 30 min.
4 lbs. LDME boil 60 min.
1 oz. Styrian pellet hops boil 60 min.
Cool to 170 F.
8 lbs fresh...
I'm thinking of adding an extra 1/3 Cups of slow toasted rolled oats to my oatmeal stout. Has anyone ever done this kind of tweaking before and what was the results?
LOL way to kill my hopes and dreams guys. thanx for the information, all this is really good to know. I cook alot so I grow all my herbs in a little home made hydroponic style set-up so i just assume i can do the same to the hops. oh well, it was worth a try and many thanx for the info guys.
