Can I put my priming sugar in my bottling bucket?

It's my first brew. The directions said rack it. My kit only had 2 buckets. I figured the second bucket was for racking. And upon reading forums on here I realized my mistake.

I don't have a carboy so I racked my beer into my bottling bucket. When it comes to bottling day can I just add my priming sugar right to the bucket that my beer is in now? Or do you have any suggestions for me???

In the directions is said to leave it at 60. So I can go up to 70? And keep it there until I see no more bubbles in my airlick?
