Brewing an IPA this weekend for my best friends bachelor party late August. I have lots of hops but also have lots on my mind and can't get the inspiration to put the schedule together. Here's what I got, any help would be appreciated. And while we're at it - any suggestions on specialty...

Yeah that is just a pilsner glass but you can't see the bottom. Moving a Black IPA to the secondary tonight, really excited about this one. Don't know of any brewing meetups in the area but I could entertain the option.

Here is my first IPA six weeks later. Turned out great, definitely a one of a kind beer.

So do you wait for the boil to get going again before you restart your hop/boil timer - say if you want to do another 10 or 5 min addition?

Will lower the choc and carafa though - may try and grab an extra oz of nugget hops

Was just adding oat to be different and give a bigger mouthfeel. Not worried ab guidelines - just want to make good beer that is my own.

So just the Carafa II and Crystal 60 will give me my color? Cut out all of the Choc?

Thanks for the suggestions. Any thoughts on doing a late extract addition on this to get more out of the hops?

Thanks. What did your hop schedule look like? Any suggestions where in the additions I should add? I guess more Nuggets mixed in the boil? I really like hoppy beers so I don't want to short myself on this end of the beer.
