Grain for a saison, bulkhead & valve for my cooler conversion. Cooler passed the leak check so let's brew! (Well, tomorrow.)

Yes, this is pure fantasy. I wish I had a cool house or a basement, but here in the southeast I'm 100% reliant on my mini fridge and cooler bag. Still, I do like to mentally take over the house with brewing equipment.

Probably mentioned before, but I was just thinking this morning while I was looking under the sink for a trash bag: You know you're a homebrewer when you start visualizing fermentation buckets in every available nook and cranny of your home. Hmmm...yep! I could fit one there, and there and there...

Making a Frankenbeer this weekend -- using up stray hops, grains, and DME that are taking up space. I'm guessing it'll end up an American pale ale but you never know what'll happen when you throw the switch. :)

Brewing a kolsch this weekend...good times! I hear you on the temp control. I do okay with my swamp cooler but I get tired of swapping out ice packs/bottles. At least it's easier at this time of year.

My own creation -- Novemberfest. A partial mash Oktoberfest recipe I made up and brewed a little late. Finishing off the last few as I try to plan out my timetable a little better in 2013. :)

A couple of beers from Yazoo Brewery in Nashville -- their pale ale and Hop Project series. Downed a lot of those and eventually came to the realization that I'd like to try making my own beers... Thanks, Yazoo! Wish I still lived around there.

Simpler Times Lager from Trader Joe's. I think it cost $3/six-pack. Despite my homebrewing tendencies, I have no problem throwing down some cheap beer now and again...but holy crap that beer was terrible. I could barely drink it ice cold and as it warmed up it just got worse and worse and worse...

American Wheat that's due to secondary with a boatload of peaches next week. On Saturday a friend gave me his unused, never-opened basic starter kit, too, so I have an extra fermenter staring at me...I don't think it will stay empty for long.
