Hey, I want to get a 5 or 10 gallon whiskey barrel to age some beer in. Once the whiskey smell/flavor goes out of the barrel- what do you do, buy another? Are there any benefits to aging in a neutral barrel?
I'm considering a high abv porter or something dark to make and age now for this...
Hey folks, my O2 regulator only goes down to around 2LPM or 2.5LPM . at that level, how long should I bubble O2 into my wort through the .5 micron oxywand? Still new to this and I've seen maybe 1LPM for 2 minutes?
I'm doing mostly pale ales and IPA in the 1.070 sg range

Good points thank you. I am new, so i am still working n getting consistant fermenter volumes. So that plays a part too. But my eff. Is all over, i just thought this may be a big reason. I will focus more on each step and see.
