Minnesota Cool Brewing Fermentation Cooler Bag

Insulated bag to help keep fermentation temperatures down. I used ice pack type things with it, and was able to keep the temps where I wanted to pretty successfully. I stopped brewing a couple of years ago, and this is one of the only pieces of gear I didn't get rid of. Looking for 25 dollars...

NB Smashing Pumpkin Full Boil Adjustment

Hi all, Planning on doing Nothern Brewer's Smashing Pumpkin tomorrow. The recipe calls for 1 oz of cluster hops for 60 minutes. If I'm doing a full boil, do you think I should reduce that? I've done some full boils and haven't reduced the hops for them, but they've been in hoppier beers...

    When do kegs leak?

Excellent. Really appreciate the replies. I'm feeling pretty confident now. Special thanks to you, sweetsounds, I found some good info from you on kegging by searching the forums. It really helped me get things going. Cheers.

    When do kegs leak?

Ah, good to know. I have them hooked up to shanks and faucets. So the out post isn't a big concern for leaking beer?

    When do kegs leak?

Hey there, Kind of a weird question. I switched to kegging on my last batch. Kegged up a batch on Sunday and so far so good. I have another batch that's ready to keg, and I was thinking of hooking it up Thursday night. I'm going out of town for the weekend though, and I don't want to...

    Recommendation for good wheat beers

Imports, but usually gettable: paulaner hefeweizen, franziskaner weissbier, hoegaarden. Boulevard unfiltered wheat from kc. There's a few. A lot of breweries do a hefeweizen, but the season is kind of over.

    Wort Chiller Advice

Just a thought. I am one of the least technically apt people in the world, and I made a nice looking, fully functional wort chiller for pretty cheap. There are great videos out there to show you how. But good luck either way!

How many gallons of Homebrew in 2012?

5 Gallons of Witbier (or so. Should have measured the 5 gallon mark on my 6 gallon better bottle before I was pouring it in there.) 23,861.5 + 5 =23,866.5

New Product! Cool Brewing Fermentation Cooler

Used my cooler on my current batch. I've just been using a few of those cold packs and am easily keeping temps down where I want them. On top of that, I ordered another one today, and I had a tracking number from UPS in about two hours. Great product and great service.

    Wheat/Wit Suggestion?

Hey there, Looking at starting my 3rd batch in the next few weeks. Anybody have a preference on the Midwest Bavarian Wheat vs the Belgian Witbier? Trying to pick one for the next batch. Also open to other extract wheat/wits from Midwest or Northern Brewer. I just bottled Hank's Hefeweizen...
