Last sunday I brewed a chocolate porter and missed my OG....It was supposed to be between 1.044 and 1.047 it ended up being 1.030.... how bad is it going to be?
where did you purchase yours? there are two sellers that i found on ebay. one seller is in hong kong and the other one is in canada. or did you purchase your from someone in the states?
i'm still new to homebrewing only been doing it for just a year.. but am in the process of aquiring a small freezer and plan on making it into a "keezer". if i where to build one of these i can use this to control the temp of the keezer is that right?.

Well did my second batch today...It is an Auburn Amber Ale from AHS... Missed the OG by .006 it was supposed to be 1.048 and I ended up at 1.054-ish. I'm thinking it was due to Boil off.. The temp out today was 22 degrees F.
Well I bottled my first batch today....It was a golden ale the fg was 1.016. It was in the primary for 20 days (didn't get my secondary til yesterday).. the beer was a little cloudy will this clear up more in the bottle? Can't wait to try it....:mug:
I recently ordered some supplies from AHB one of which was some Starsan.. forom what i gather (being a newbe) It is mixed at 5 gal. My question is if it is mixed in 5 gal how long can i keep it before i need to dump it. Can i keep it stored in one of my empty pails between uses or do i need to...
