Thanks, I completely understand. It's really a cool tool I am just afraid I am going to pick some ingredients which just wont work (I'm a big time home brewing rookie).
I have 5 PicoPacks ready to go and am brewing Bad Jimmy's Cocoa Vanilla Porter right now, just figured I'd take a shot at...
I probably am not the only one who has thought that if someone had a pretty good custom published zymatic recipe, which was not available as a published picopack yet, they might like to share the ingredients so that people who only have the Pico can try it. That is all I was asking which I did...
I was referring to the new custom PicoPacks. I am hoping to use some of the recipes out there to build a smaller version for the PicoPacks. Also I must be missing something but where is the library!?
Where are these recipes? I have the PicoBrew Pico, I can't seem to find any recipes for this on the site. Do you have a link?
Also isn't the library set up for Zymatic users?
Hi all I have a kegerator which during new years poured some black specks in the beer just like the original post from 2011. I have a micromatic cleaning system which I ran it through before tapping the new keg and I still get this. It has been going on for a bit now with a few kegs. Beer...
Yup, I think I can either use the Edge Star adapter for those coolers or buy this http://www.northernbrewer.com/cannonball-system-mini-regulator
I am leaning towards the cannonball system as the kegs seem much better made. I think this will fit nicely in the fridge too.
Wow that seems interesting. I wouldn't mind trying this, would you be able to describe how you did this and what I should buy? Thanks again !
Is this similar to what you did? This looks like the best option I'm thinking

Perfect, I will look into the Party Star. By chance do those old Heineken keg tap systems work also?
Something like this? http://www.sunpentown.com/bdmikedi.html
may have answered my own question - is the Edge Star what I need to use the keg tap with the existing serving keg?
Thanks, that makes sense. I actually have a kegerator but it is setup already in my bar and to add a second tap would be a bit of a pain to do (lack of space also plays a big part). I saw both the party star tap mentioned in this thread as well as the following link...
I did force carb. I had some C02 left over as well. So what I would do is after the 36 hour carb is done, lower the pressure to around 2-5 PSI? Then I would turn off the regulator and release the pressure each time I would pour a glass? After pouring I would then turn the regulator back on?
Hi all, I brewed my first Pico a week or so ago and it came out great. After brewing, I served it out of my serving keg and found after 3 days or so it really started becoming flat and skunky. I can drink a lot but would rather have this beer last longer than 3 days. What options do I have to...
