I've been an overnight forklift driver at Sam's club, an over night baker (several times) and a boston bike messenger, all of which require you to adjust your ideas about what time it is acceptable to start drinking.

I am looking to brew a beer akin to Rogue's Mom Hefe but with a different base beer. I have hips and petals but I'm not sure how much to use.

I've brewed several batches with 1469 and occasionally there will be a cheesy smell and a long lag time if I don't bother with a starter. Let it finish and see how it tastes.
When I brew inside I usually knock out dinner while I'm at it. I make a lot of curries from scratch (lots of onion) and I haven't had an onion beer yet.
