The honey definitely comes through in this beer and melds nicely with the toasty caramel from the munich malt. I didn't get as much ginger flavor with this one as my previous attempt but it's still there, the carbonation makes it...

Batch Size: 5 gal
OG: 1.053
FG: 1.018
ABV: 4.6%
Total boil: 60 min
Color: dark amber
Fermentation: 14 days in primary, one week dry hop in secondary
Tasting notes: Huge hop nose that initially completely blankets...
Alright. This recipe is definitely an amber as opposed to an IPA. The caramel from the crystal 80 is huge! I love this beer though. Like I said before, I upped the ginger to 5 oz shredded which brought it to the forefront but still wasn't overpowering. Great job uknowwh00!
I made another batch...
I just brewed this today with 5 oz of shredded ginger. I didn't account for the additional time needed to filter the ginger (using my janky filter setup). Smelled delicious the entire time though! Will update when finished.
