Think this is bad? It hasn't broken 70 here in the last three days and it's been cloudy. I doubt the temp in my trunk went higher than 75 at any point. I just put them in the fridge. I'm brewing tomorrow. Think I'll have a problem?
I love my single stage Love controller. I got mine from Cole-Parmer. It works great! You can make a thermowell for it too out of a spare dip tube or order one of these pretty little things. Love controls come in all sorts of varieties, and there are good threads here on them.
Hey all, I've got my love controller hooked up and the probe inside my kegerator. How much of the probe is waterproof? I couldn't find a solid answer online. Is the whole cable waterproof or just the 4 cm probe portion at the end? I want to put it in liquid to stabilize the compressor a bit.
I was more worrying about the compressor. I'm pretty to new to this, luckily I have a relative who's a professional electrician to help me wire it all up but I just wanted to be prepared. So there's no worries about blowing the compressor?
Hey guys, I've been searching the forums and haven't found a conclusive answer, so I figured I'd straight out ask. I have a 7.0 cf GE freezer that I am wiring a Love temp controller to. I thought I remember reading somewhere that I should avoid wiring it into the compressor because it will fry...
I'm in the process of building a keezer (with a lot of help from Seabee John) and I need to attach my wooden collar to the freezer. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions on how to do that? I was thinking of just using an adhesive. Any help would be much appreciated.
Out of the coffin. It's a GE 7.0 cf freezer. Basing it off of design's I've seen around here. The tap house will be all wood, and quite a bit smaller than Jester's for example.
I'm stuck at work and my curiousity got to me. What exactly is a yeast starter? My current brews just required the slap packs. What's the difference between that and a starter culture? Do use both at once? Sorrow for the rediculous amount of questions!
