So 6" is 1 gallon? I'd just use the rod to measure how deep the liquid is, then measure that. Every 6 inches is another gallon. Should be enough to estimate most quantities.
First off; I'm really not that concerned about this, I figured I'd just see if there was a general consensus out there. I'm actually kinda just bored at work and thinking about beer.
I have two places that I can use to plant my first rhizomes. both of them get a pretty good amount of light...
I live about equal distance between there and NothernBrewer and I find that Midwest is slightly less expensive but I have the feeling that NB rotates through their grain a little more quickly.
That might all be in my head though. Both stores are excellent IMHO and I think I'm pretty lucky to...

I missed a 5gal corny keg this morning by like 10 minutes so I decided to find a way to search craigslist better.
Here are 6 steps to automate your Craigslist Searches (or any search that provides a RSS feed for that matter). I tried to take a screenshot at each step so this will get pretty...
So I'm curious if there's any reason not to plant other plants in the same planter with some rhizomes. This will be my first year growing and I thinking of throwing some pumpkins or some peppers in the same planter.
I'm assuming since the hops are growing vertically that they won't care much...
