To all that inquired about this beer, it came out really good! I am impressed, I may up the honey next time. I am letting age another 3 weeks before I crack another one. A little more aging should make it better! Thanks to all that posted.
Have you started this batch? What about bottled hazelnut like the ones coffee shops use?I am sure they sell organic ones with out preservatives. Or you can find a concentrate oil, although that might lead to wang beer. Here is to a good beer.
Thanks Arpolis. That is another thing I can not buy either,Oh well, I will just transfer it once agin to get rid of then yeast. Or go to a brew store. Still a fun project.
I have wine in keg. I do not have the "clay" that normally goes in wine. But I do have moss. I was thinking of making a simple syrup and putting in the moss for the last 3 to 5 minutes. Anyways will this clear up my wine? Thanks for reading. :confused:
Kirsch and simple syrup? It is made from cherries, and really good in black forest cake. By flash cooking it you burn off the spirits, then put in your simple syrup. It should give you a nice taste.
