Virgil's root beer bottle gaskets - stuck on?
Yeah, I boiled the bottles for several minutes each to remove the labels. Boiling did jack ****e to loosen the gaskets. I think Virgils is melting the rubber to the caps so that they are not reusable without replacing the whole flip-top assembly. Anyone else have a similar experience, or find...- natetheblade

Virgil's root beer bottle gaskets - stuck on?
I would like to re-use some Virgil's root beer bottles, however, I'm not sure if I should re-use the gaskets that came with them. Gaskets are cheap enough to replace. The issue I am having is with removing the blasted gaskets. It looks like Virgils has melted or somehow sealed the rubber...- natetheblade
