This is a 2.5 gallon batch.
4.5 LB - 2 Row
0.5 LB - Crystal 60
1 oz - Roasted Barley
0.5 oz - Cascade - 60 min
0.25 oz - Cascade - 10 min
0.25 oz -...
What I do if I need to filter when racking to my bottling bucket is to simply sanitize one of those nylon bags, put it on the end of the hose and leave it in the bottom of the bottling bucket. With the end of the hose always at the bottom it fills from the bottom up and remains very still...
Looks like you guys had fun.
One thing to watch out for though is disturbing the beer too much when pouring it through that strainer. The oxygen exposure can lead to off flavours.
Good thing I'm not the only one :P
I have folders all setup in iPhoto to keep track. It's fun to look back at some of my brew days when i was just starting out.
If you want to brew beer at home to save money you should probably just buy beer. Equipment can become expensive and well all know how addictive this hobby gets!
