Yikes ! ! ! I just brewed a batch of American Porter (mr beer) And I put in the yeast and waited 5 mins before mixing......only I forgot about it for about an hour. When I remembered I went to go look at it there was a huge fermentation colony on top. I proceeded to mix it vigorously anyway...

I have a quick question, how long after sanitizing equipment is it good for?

Side point question. ..can you use previously used screw off beer bottles?

Okay, so by extract, I guess you are referring to a can of stuff similar to what comes with Mr beer, correct?

I'm starting brand new. Need everything. I like porter and stout and ale if that helps.
