Great suggestion! This was a pretty basic Pilsner recipe so I think I could have some fun with experimentation at this point. Probably going to leave 1 of 3 jugs untouched and add some citrus and spice flavors to the remaining 2.
Up until this point none of my brews have really needed secondary fermentation, so pardon the noob question... I have a 3 gallon batch in primary, but all my carboys are 5 gallon and I know that the less headspace the better for secondary. So I was thinking of racking into three separate 1...

Thanks for sharing this recipe! I've got 4 brews under my belt but all ales so far, and I plan on brewing a batch of this pilsner next. One question though... when did you add the honey? At the beginning of the boil?
My roommate just got back from touring a handful of wineries and breweries in San Francisco, and he brought home a bottle of Napa Smith Brewery's "Cool Brew" hop ale. It took me a minute to get over the name, but the beer itself was one of the better hoppy brews that I've tasted in a while -...
Thinking of brewing this recipe this weekend, but my LHBS does not usually sell whole hops, just the pellets. Will it be a problem if I use pellets instead?
Thanks for the recipe! I just brewed a 5-gallon batch of this last night - it's my first 5-gal brew and my first time using a plastic bucket to ferment. My others have only been 1-gal and 2-gal in glass jugs, so I'm very excited to see how this turns out!
