I use us-05 in Michigan and my basement has been in the low 60s and my yeast has been very happy

He says they taste great from my understanding head and carbonation aren’t the same thing

I noticed this on my first brew. The my buddy sent me a picture of the same beer in a glass that he pored. Mine no head his a tone. I pored really slow he pored really fast. Maybe you are just good at poring. As long as it tastes great then I don’t see a problem.

I asked for a kit that is why it was in the extract section. The recipe section does not seem to get the traffic. I could not delete it so o reposted in beginners section because I am a beginner and didn’t think that would be a problem

what is the best kit to brew that will tast good by it self but also good when mixed with lemonade or lime aid?

i am brewing a coconut porter. When I added the coconut to the carboy I thought it would hydrate on it own but it’s just sitting on top after 24 hrs. I am wondering if I should lightly stir it or shake the carboy? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
