yeah i saw the threads and the polish used in it. im just finding it impossible to find it. the people at lowes looked at me like i was crazy when i asked about polish. and i cant even find it online.
so i started the back braking project of keg polishing yesterday and used gator grite finishing pads anf polioshinbg pads and i used a ryobi polish since there was none at lowes where i bough pads. now at the end of all of that the keg is covered in some black crap. is there a step im missing...
just go with the weldless setups that they have for SS its alot easier to drill through aluminum then it is to find someone to weld aluminum. pretty sure you need a special welder. i dont know much a bout welding so i could be wrong. also again i have no idea but maybe you might need to use...
wow im glad i saw this before i got went any further on my two kegs. ive already started cleaning up the outside surface using a disc similar to the gator grit discs. it did a pretty good job im guessing it was either coarse or maybe medium. but anyways it took forever and i havent been looking...
yeah thats what i was thinkin and if that doesnt work im gonna step it up to the green ones and then smooth it out with one of those and see what happens
not a bad idea the problem there is if your draining into carboy then there is always the problem of ball valve getting clogged. if your just picking up kettle and pouring it would probably work alot better
