I didn't taste it but it smelled slightly sourish. I have kegged and now cold-crashing, but I noticed something floating on the surface at the top of the keg. I hope the cold crashing will get rid of it somehow. At least I learned something from this experience; I had a homebrew meet up and...

I have the same problem. Stout and Porters seem to be susceptible. I can't bare to dump mine, I'm going to cold crash it right now.

You are having a very common problem. The only thing that has worked for me so far is to put the wort onto a new yeast cake from another batch that fermented properly.

Yes, buyer protection has a time limit, and so does paypal. I lose.

Mixtea offers free shipping, great but the catch is it is so slow (or in my case non-existent) that the order ends up falling outside of buyer protection policy of both ebay and paypal. Mixtea knows this obviously and used it to his/her advantage.

I ordered from mixtea about 4 months ago, did not receive the item and was promised either a refund or another item, at first I asked for another item , he said he sent it, never came, so finally I asked for a refund, never got it, can't do anything now because more than 3 months have passed...
