    Why can't I be lazy...

While doing a BIAB on my stovetop I over shot my intended target and was 154F ish. I then turned off the stove top and over the next hour let the temp drift down into sub 150F territory where I initially wanted it to be at the start. It is some much work to raise the temp. So just a...

    Anyone BIAB?

BIAB rules! I use it for beers requiring around 10 lbs or less. Place a 2x3ft bag (bigger than I need) and clip it to the sides of my 22qt stock pot. In goes all the grains x 60min. Then place a standard metal colander over stock pot,bag with grains on top, and sparge as normal. Did a pilsner...

1st All Grain Batch: What the $%&* Did I do?

just smell and taste it...if it really smells and TASTES overwhelmingly like horseS&*#& you may want to dump it... otherwise if it tastes like flat warm beer that has a slightly funky odor I would bottle it and see, you can always dump it later but the odors might mellow out a great deal

Looking for a Belgian Double/Triple Extract Recipe

I too brewed a tripel extract about 3 mns ago as my very first brew. After about a month of tasting one here and there and worrying about some strong flavours I tasted it yesterday in a proper glass....a wonderful symphony for my mouth. Only complaint is lack of head and lower carbonation than...

    Help...Witbier gone BITTER...

This is my second beer I have ever done. First was a extract Tripel done in 1/10. Relatively pleased with it but having trouble waiting the appropiate 3-6 mns before consuming. Anyways, I figured I should probably brew a extract witbier for the summer and all and this one looked good...
