    BIAB with multiple bags

    It is more coarse, but I have had no problems with it. I have also used the voile and didn't notice a different between the two in the finished beer. The coarse bag actually was a little easier to get more wort out of due to its porousness.

    Brew in a bag (BIBA).....where can you get a good grain bag thats big enough?

    I use the "Jumbo Coarse Nylon Bag" from AHS. It fits at 15.5 gallon keggle well. It says it holds 15 lbs of grain in the description, but I had 18 pounds of crushed grain in mine for a barley wine a few weeks ago...

    Grain mill settings for BIAB

    I just got a barley crusher and used it for one brew so far, a 10.5 pound grain bill. I used the default setting it came on, but ran the grain through twice. I ended up tight at 80% efficiency. Previously using grain that was pre-milled and getting right around 70%.

    Stuck Fermentation - Had to re-pitch, now what?

    Brewed the AHS Flanders Brown (extract) myself 2 weeks ago. OG of 1.070 Pitched a 11.5g package of saftbrew t-58. Aerated with pure oxygen and diffuser stone. Checked after 5 days was at 1.022. Fermentation had been at 66 degrees (constant, using heater with external thermostat). I increased the...
