    Is anyone using Auber's SYL-2372?

    http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=237 It says it has "built in SSR output". Does this mean I can use it, combined with a contactor to run a 5500w heater element, thus eliminating the 40 amp SSR and heatsink?

    Multiple RTD question

    I am curious about this as well. I am planning a system that uses a single PID to control the HLT and BK, but it would be cool to have one (or more) if these cheap temp readouts to keep track of the MLT, wort chiller, herms output, etc. I hope someone smarter than me answers you!

    weld-on heating element flange

    Could this be cut in down in length so that the element would thread in all the way? You would be cutting off some of the taper and you would get 2 pieces out of it! I can get these locally for $8, so it would be much easier.
