I have been stirring mine once a day for the 1st five days. Thats what the last 2 recipes had me doing Im not sure if there is a standard to go by. I use a pillow case to cover my bucket with a bungee cord around it. Im afraid to use a towel because of all the short threads they have.
Im starting my 1st mead using a mead kit. I says to let ferment in primary for about 2 weeks till the SG doesnt change for 2 days. I believe Ill be leaving for 2 weeks of work before it reaches that point. Will the mead be fine sitting in primary for an extra week or two after fermentation...
I started this 9 weeks ago its smells nice only issue is its still cloudy and has some white stuff inside stuck to the side. Is this something I should worry about?
