For Sale Complete homebrew system - HERMS, conical, temp controlled.. Denver metro

Have decided to move on from homebrewing. Looking to offload all of it. Pretty extensive set up including *14 gal spike conical with all the extras (carb stone, PRV, 2" dump, racking arm, sampling port, temp port w/ gauge, 4" dump port on top). This conical was used a ~dozen times. Excellent...

    Hefeweizen CO2 volume argument

Turning it down just before pouring a beer does absolutely nothing. The 'system' will not instantaneously change pressures that fast. In fact it won't change at all until you release some of the pressure (either pouring a beer or bleeding keg), and even then, it's a slow process. Think about...

    $6.99 CO2 tank refills - Denver/Boulder/CO Springs/Ft Collins

Just want to keep this rolling for any newcomers in Denver area. Just stopped by Way to Grow, and 20lb swaps are still $7. I just scored an old steel, rusty 20lb tank on FB marketplace for $20. It was stamped in 2015, so I knew I wanted to swap it soon so I didn't have to pay for a test. Way to...

    Mini Kegs

I realize this is a decade old, but the link is not active anymore and I’m looking to do this and would like to know how it worked. Filling a 5l with carbed beer for use at a party or what have you.

Did I mess up? Carbonating with yeast cake/trub still in

It's already cold crashed, sitting at 38. I did that wed/thurs before putting CO2 on it. So you think just pull off the CO2, let settle for 24 hours then dump and transfer into keg?

Did I mess up? Carbonating with yeast cake/trub still in

I recently got the spike conical, and my first batch in it was done fermenting this week. I cold crashed it wednesday/thursday (it's in an upright freezer), then last night I put on carb stone attachment and hooked up CO2 @ 10psi to carbonate it. This morning I realized I never dumped the...

    Inside dimensions of True GDM-10

So I have some info, I went and looked at a GDM10 and GDM12 today. The interior height of the 10 is 35". The 12 was 42" Hope this helps anyone else looking. A spike CF10 will not fit in the GDM10, it's too tall.

    CRAIG's LIST Find

I've had several gold mines over the years. I picked up a free keezer on CL that came with 4 perlick SS faucets, a full CO2 tank with dual gauge regulator, gas manifold, and a sealed 32oz bottle of starsan. He originally wanted $150 for it, but when I showed up, I had him plug it in and after...

    Inside dimensions of True GDM-10

Sorry this is quite old.. but I just found a true gdm10 for sale, and asked the guy for internal measurements, he said 37" H.. Looking at the specs on true website, it says overall height is 54", 37" seems about right. That pic above shows a blichman fermenator in it with room to spare, and that...

Spike Conical- observations and best practices

Oh yeh, I didn't mean to imply I was considering not having cooling. my current conical is a thermoelectrically cooled unit, it can cool wort to about 20 degrees below ambient. Problem is, there is no heating, and I brewed a belgian dubbel back in late october, and it only had a few days at mid...
