    thanks for the advice guys...still unsure about what im going to do..but i plugged it into BeerAlchemy and the OG (with 100% efficiency) is 1.109...gonna be huge to brew as is...im thinkin about makin it a 6 gallon batch and playin with the hops a little bit...any1 elses advice will be greatly...

    Sorry if its a noobish question, but what are the benefits of milling your own grain before you brew as opposed to having the HBS you order from mill your grain for you as you order it??

    thanks bent...I just brewed an Extract Oatmeal Stout Kit with filtered water from the fridge (also a full boil rather than a partial boil) and I have my First AG kit lined up for tomorrow (which I will Also use Filtered Water for)...Im very excited to taste the differences...Thanks to everone...
