    Boiling extracts vs. hot water

No coopers is 7g per package. And no do not boil coopers kits unless you want to remove the hop profile and unbalance the beer. I always pitch into fermenter i dont not rehydrate and i have never had an issue ever.

experimenting with Marynka hops and coopers lager kit

I have a few tips for you to try use only 19-20liters of water it really reduces the wateryness. if possible keep fermentation @ 66f or 19c. these help alot with flavor.but the brews you made will be good im sure.

    Head retention for coopers kit?

Thats funny you mention that I noticed some of my favorite brews I used brown sugar that could be it. I mainly primed with just dextrose but past 3 batches(none ready yet) I used all coopers bottling drops.(they contain dextrose, maltodextrine and i believe dme?)Just to test if they will make...

    Head retention for coopers kit?

Yeah I tend to let my brews age at least 2-3weeks minimum always. I found out quickly if you wait awhile you beer gets better. I just received my heading powder and will be adding it to my next 2 batches (which are almost done) I will update this thread to let everyone know how it turns out in...

    cheapest brew

Yeah beer is stupid expensive in canada, unless you homebrew:mug:. I can buy coopers kits in save on foods (on sale) for 11.99 then 500g-700g dextrose is no more than 2$.. but to buy a case of beer in my town (12 beer) = 24$.. so yeah...I homebrew, and have for over a year now :)

    Head retention for coopers kit?

I am lookng for a quick easy way to get (no flavour) into my beer but increase head retention. in a 5 galon batch. I want something simple, as I can not boil the wart because I use coopers kits which are non boil. The beer flavour is good the carbination is fine but now its just the head...

    carboy vs bucket

I agree with rev he is one of the smartest brewers here, and what he says is 100% accurate But for me personally my favorite to use is a bucket. Glass looks nice but fragile. Also I like to be able to bottle directly from the primary with the spigot. For me only real reason is convenience for...
