I have installed my copper coils in my brew Kettle. It works fine and all I have to do to clean it is put oxy clean in the kettle and let it sit for a day or so. Have never had any problems with it. I have welded stainless steel fittings in the kettle and use hose fittings to hook up the coils...
What kind of panels are those that you line your chamber with? Where did you get them at? I'm going to be building a chamber real soon and I'm looking for panel like that.
You might be able to use some freon called freeze 12 which some automotive stores carry. I know that Carquest carries it here in the Memphis Tn area. Its just a suggestion.
If you buy the keg insulator you have to buy the ice blanket with it also. I just bought 1 today and I'm hoping it will do the job for taking my kegs to summer pool parties
I will be brewing early sat morning a 10 gal batch of California common. This is the 2nd time in brewing this type of beer. The 1st batch turned out great!
I had one of those units it was nice but like the person said before me it was an hog for electricity. when the unit came on the lights in the house went dim. I evently had to shut it off and sold it to a bar.
