I finally got this wired up and working. The only problem now is that the temp probe is not long enough to reach deep enough into my keezer for proper placement. Does anyone know what type of wire I can use to extend the probe? Would speaker wire work or is just using some left over 14ga wire...

Can someone tell me if you can dim the display screen on an STC-1000? I'd like to mount one in my keezer collar but the keezer is going to be positioned next to the TV. Not sure if it's going to be too distracting having the display glare at you while watching TV in the dark. Thanks!
