Hey all im relatively new to the game currently conditioning an Anchor Steam Larger clone 2more weeks til drinking, Brewing my first witbier this afternoon hoping for a cream sickle taste at the end, would love to get a hold of some local Rhode Island homebrewers
everything was sanitized very good, how long do u figure the whole fermenting process will take if i just leave it alone? current temp is steady at 58 degrees
so basically i need to get another yeast make a starter and re pitch it? also how long is the wort able to just sit in fermenter before anything bad happens to it if anything?
i did not make starter, it came in a vial type tube so there was no breaking a baloon which i have done in the past, the homebrew store employee said to just shake the vial and dump it in fermenter the best before date is 28 dec 2010
Brewed a Anchor Steam clone on Sunday no activity in airlock for 2 days which i know is not a big deal so this morning tuesday i popped the lid and i have no activity or kurisen OG was 1.052 just took second reading its the same, temp strip on the fermenter says 58 degrees i used WLP820...
