Help upgrade my home brewery, lets make better beer.

You will moan in boredom when I say it, but $100-150 should instantly go towards an acceptable pH meter. In this day and age of home brewing if you're doing all grain without a pH meter, you're wasting your time. Everybody, including my prior self, gets hung up on the equipment. Become the beer...

Wyeast 3724 Belgian Saison - they were right!

I pitch 3724 at 74 into 1.065 O.G. and immediately start to ramp it 2 degrees every 8 hours until it hits 90. Then I leave it for weeks... Many weeks. It does stall at 1.035, exactly as predicted, but I usually finish at 0.998-1.000. My recipe does have 3lbs of honey for 10 gallons.

    CO2 Quandary

Outside is the way to go. More room inside. The more vs. less CO2 argument is phony. Just be careful when drilling!! Or better yet, don't drill. If you have to drill, peel away a little metal and carefully probe around for the coils. Do this at your own risk, you hit a coil, you break the...

Multiple Jacketed Conicals with Heat & Cool

I like the creativity! It would work, but might be a little overkill. With one hot tank set to 5-10 F above the hottest conical, each conical could be kept at a different temp by changing how frequently the hot liquid gets pumped to it.

Multiple Jacketed Conicals with Heat & Cool

How would you prevent stratification if one pump isn't used often? And thus, how would you get an accurate temperature reading?
