Favorite cheap beer, and I mean cheaper than Budweiser, is Miller High Life.
Worst was Carling Black Label. Granted I haven't had it in 25 years so my tastes may have changed since then.
Here’s my Yuengling clone from last fall. My mash efficiency was lower than expected due to using a new HBS mill with a wider gap than I was used to. The IBUs were a bit high at 16 and the foam stability and lacing was MUCH better than on the real thing. A bit maltier too, but I actually liked...
Same here except I buy fresh roasted coffee. We were ordering more coffee online the other day and reading through the different taste descriptions and I said, "Does it really matter? They're all just going to taste like coffee to me anyway." 🤣 I think a lot of this is just marketing. I would...

I brewed a Kolsch earlier this year with K-97 with great results. I cold crashed for two days, fined with gelatin and it was pretty clear in less than a week of cold conditioning in the keg.
I dry hop at yeast pitch all the time. Seems to work well and I get great hop flavor and aroma. This has been tried side by side at Brulosophy several times and never had a significant difference between dry hopping later...

I made a Honey Kolsch type beer that I had been planning for over a year. I got it kegged and served a couple beers from it. It was one of the best beers I have made. I was using a new picnic tap that I got from Amazon. I had used it once before without problems. I poured a Honey Kolsch one day...
