    fridge keeps freezing my beer

did the thermostat on your fridge have two or three wires coming out of it? mine's got three and it looks like the controller only works for one with two. edit: just now understanding that this is the whole thing, not something that just wires into the sensor with the original thermostat...

    fridge keeps freezing my beer

I just got back into town and checked the fridge. the keg was frozen solid and it was running, so it clearly isn't cycling off. Am I better off replacing the thermostat or getting a temperature controller?

    fridge keeps freezing my beer

I'm new to kegging and built my kegerator with a Kenmore 461.98475. its 4.4 cubic feet. Other than bend the chilling tray down and out of the way to make space for the kegs, I've made no modifications to it. it worked fine for the first month. after that, its started freezing kegs, even at the...

Moving coolant line in new Kenmore keggerator

Has anyone done door mounted taps on this fridge? my plan was to mount them higher up on the door, then raise the fridge up to bar height.

    Kenmore 461.98475 for Kegerator?

If anyone else happens to pick one of these up as i just did, I found that removing the door panel, then using a wood saw to cut the outside edge with the screw holes into strips worked really well. toss the middle, then put the screws and gasket back where they came from.

Moving coolant line in new Kenmore keggerator

Bending it is definitely my only course of action, I'm just looking to see if anyone has any tips on doing that without destroying it.

Moving coolant line in new Kenmore keggerator

I picked up a 4.4 cubic foot Kenmore 461.98475 off craigslist the other day and I'm attempting my first try at one of these. I've only managed to find one small threat relating to this model https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=305783, and was wondering how to best go about moving the...

    Identifying hops picked near Seattle

My plan was to brew a little 2-row and Belgian wheat ale with it. Im thinking Columbus to bitter, then flavor with mystery hop. I've got about 10oz, so we'll see what we get.

    Identifying hops picked near Seattle

I picked these guys from a friend's house around the Seattle area, and haven't been able to pin down what they are. I'd like to know before brewing with them. Tasting while still fresh they seemed far more bitter than the Cascades I had in the freezer. Sorry for the poor picture quality. Kyle

White Crusty layer on IPA After Dry Hopping

I've done a dozen secondaries into buckets. Guess I just lost this one.

White Crusty layer on IPA After Dry Hopping

I've just dryhopped my first IPA. After popping the lid off of the secondary, there was a thin, white layer of crust on the surface. Does anyone know what this is, and if I should be concerned?

    wheat session recipe

I'll probably use the 1056 yeast for this guy. What should I look for in fermenting temperatures for it?

    wheat session recipe

Thanks for the advice on the yeast, I'll probably stick with the 1056. Any input on the hop schedule would be great.

    wheat session recipe

I've done a few hefeweizens that have come out well, and I've managed to not stick any mashes.
