So true. I'm went to Kansas State and we're supposed to have a good team this year but I'm sure i'll be disappointed at some point. Maybe I should start brewing a strong IPA to be ready by late November.
Football season is right around the corner and I was curious what you guys bring to the tailgate? Also, do you guys bring your beer in a growler or bring a keg setup?
I make 5 gallon batches so I'll need something larger for the boil. I plan on retiring my old turkey pot for something a little fancier.

I just brewed this 9 days ago. My OG was 1.046 and now i'm at 1.007. It tastes great already. I guess it's normal to get a gravity reading of 1.007 with this beer???
I've read some reviews of this beer online and many people are saying that it doesn't have much of a taste. If I wanted to add a little more hop flavor or citrus flavor are there any hops that I should replace from the original grain bill?
I'm justing looking for something to boost this...
Thanks for your help guys! This is only my 4th batch and I'm still learning the lingo. What am I going to do with all the DME now, haha. You'd think the home brew store would have been able to determine the right grain bill considering they were reading it out of this book.

UPDATE ON THE BEER.....
I finally got to bottling the beer last Monday and I chilled my first bottle tonight to see what it tastes like. Even though it was still flat which I expected it has a great flavor. I can't wait to see what it tasted like in a couple weeks when it's fully carbed...
