    Mini Fridge Extension Chamber

It's worked perfectly for the two ales I've done. Held the temp right at 68 the entire time. I haven't had a chance to try any lagers yet, but I suspect it will work great. I will keep this updated when I do try a lager, hopefully in the next month or so.

    Mini Fridge Extension Chamber

Here's my version of the mini fridge chamber that I have seen a few times on here. A $40 craigslist fridge, some lumber, insulation, and aluminum tape. I have my first pale ale in there now and it's holding steady at 68. i'm using the Inkbird dual controller, but don't need the heating side...

    Gluten Free extract fermentation

Still looking the same today with same SG. Been two weeks on the dot. Do I let it ride and wait to clear up? Or is the floating stuff normal to go into the bottling bucket.

    Gluten Free extract fermentation

To be honest I don't know what the estimated final is.. the recipe I'm following just said two weeks. That's why I was going to check again on Friday to see if it stabilized and wasn't still dropping. Just nervous first timer about stuff floating around!

    Gluten Free extract fermentation

I need some help. First time Brewer here. I started a basic gluten free using sorghum extract on 1/28. I used safale us05 yeast rehydrated and in a go-ferm yeast hydration medium when doing so. OG was 1.044 and checked today and it was 1.009. However, there's some goodies floating around that...

    Denver Breweries

You guys are awesome. Thanks so much for the input. This will help me decide what part of Denver to book our hotel in! We will definitely try out the gluten free brewery, as there are none that I'm aware of around our KC area. My wife loves great beer, but they have been few and far between...

    Denver Breweries

Thank you all for the help. My wife is gluten free so any gluten free stops would be awesome. I don't have a strong preference for any particular style beer myself. I'm a rookie in the homebrew world and fairly new to craft beer in general, so still exploring my taste buds

    Denver Breweries

Hello there! My family and I are headed to Colorado this summer and planning to stay a night in Denver (we're from the Kansas City area).I'm looking for a couple of breweries to check out and the list on-line is overwhelming. Any suggestions for 2-3 breweries to check out while we're there...

Moving into extract brewing seeking advice.

Thanks for this thread, very insightful. Newbie here. One question: when do you consider "late addition" for the remainder of the extract? Last five minutes of the boil or whats the time frame?? Curious how this turned out for you.

    First GF home brew!

sorry... i know this is an old post. I found this recipe as well and am looking to try it. anything you would change or do different if you were to brew it again? Did you just trade the hops you listed one-for-one for the ones in the recipe? Thanks for the help

    Cheers from NW Missouri

Hello all! I'm a newbie to the world of home brew and have only tried one batch of wine and in the final stages of my first mead. I'm currently reading How to Brew by John Palmer and excited to jump into this new world. My wife has a gluten allergy, so I'm hoping to learn all I can about...
