I am able to get 5 to 60 gallon oak barrels and I was wondering what kind of beer you would put into these barrels. They are new barrels and I know that makes a huge difference. Has anyone ever used new barrels or can you only use old ones?

Took a SG reading today and tasted it after and it was really good its ready to bottle now im just waiting on my bottle washer to come in it should be either tomorrow or Monday. I believe this has been a happy accident it is really good and its not even bottles yet. Or im just crazy haha

Ordered the blonde kit from MoreBeer for SWMBO and she is really excited. I have around 500 clean bottles from friends and family haha. So I think im good for a while
