Check to see if your gravity dropped after bottling. I had a pumpkin beer drop from 1.015 to 1.005. Was fine at 2 weeks in bottle, but at 4 they were gushing and had 2 b

Just confirmed my own question. Dropped from 1.015 to 1.005. Time to replace some plastic and be more thorough on cleaning. Thought I was plenty clean though.
My pumpkin beer is way over carbonated and continues to get worse so I'm thinking gusher bug. If it is a gusher bug shouldn't the gravity be lower than pre-bottling or would it not be measurable?
Yes, but considerably underage. I'm pretty pumped to brew this beer. Going to need to get a big starter going early this week. Excited to use the new homemade stirplate for the first time as well.
